tried looking out for projects to contribute to, but drew a blank most of the time. i think we can contribute better to the projects we actually use daily.

first contribution to bentopdf.com: PR #739. i use it daily, found one, fixed it.

as i keep contributing, will update, hopefully i have enough to create another page :P

fleet

  • built a self-hosted deploy platform (bun/express/next.js) that turns github pushes into live docker deployments with stable https urls on custom subdomains.
  • engineered async deploy workers (bullmq) with clone → build → blue-green run, traefik routing, per-project network isolation, and real-time build/runtime logs.
  • shipped github oauth + webhook auto-deploy, encrypted env/secrets storage, and production infra (traefik, cloudflare wildcard dns, mongodb, redis) on bare metal.
